Description

Straight-ahead rock with a healthy dose of folk and punk sensibilities. Greg's incisive lyrics teem with class analysis drawn from stories of the everyday, relating on the most fundamental human levels. Some are reminded of a punked-out Springsteen, Bragg, or Young, but all will agree that this record rocks. So much so that it is loved equally by:

• DIY purist punkers sewing patches onto their hoodies
• Suits unwinding from a hard day of currency speculation
• Service industry and factory workers who've spent the day sabotaging equipment and spitting in patrons' food
• Weenie college kids who've never worked a day in their lives (so they feel they have to listen to music about working by people who actually have).

Backed by Jason Tait on drums, and recorded by John Sutton, both of the Weakerthans. Nominated for 2 Prairie Music Awards.
